Tuesday's Food Pantry
"Jesus said, "I am the bread of life. No one who
comes to me will ever go hungry. and no one who believes in me will ever be thirsty." Our Tuesday Food Pantry
offers bread, pastry, canned and dry foods, as well as, some frozen and fresh foods weekly to feed the bodies of those in
need in our community.
Most of our food pantry visitors are residents of Deltona but, we do serve families from the surrounding area. We also make referrals to other agencies and food pantries in Volusia County to assist our visitors with other needs or problems. We also have a limited selection of donated clothing for family members of all ages. You are invited to browse the clothing after receiving goods from the food pantry. Since Jesus is the food for our spirits we invite all our visitors to join us for worship services and the other activities especially to dine on Friday evenings at 5:00 pm with Our Father's Table in Kirtley Hall. Tuesday Food Pantry serves from the rear door of Kirtley Hall (It's on the side of the building by the field). Please look for the orange cones to indicate the entry way. Tuesday Food Pantry visitors are asked not to arrive prior to 12:30 pm on Tuesday afternoons in order to avoid traffic and parking problems. Our door opens at 1:00 pm and we begin issuing service checks at 12:45 pm. We limit our service to one family at a time, so that your family may receive the individual attention you deserve. Our last service check is given out at 2:45 pm, so please be sure to be at the Tuesday Food Pantry by then. You will need to bring your Florida identification. We gratefully accept and are happy to receive donations of food and clothing from other organizations, churches and companies in and around our area so that the people of our community and be served unconditionally. If you wish to make a donation to our Tuesday Food Pantry, please contact the church office at 386-574-1391. |
