Our Custodian:  William Chameco is one of a kind. He loves helping all the various ministries throughout the church with set up and removal of equipment for the various events.  If ever you need anything thoughout our church, William is the one to call.  He works with a love of all and our church is very lucky to have found such a man. Claudia Sava, Administrative Assistant	Our new Administrative Assistant is Claudia Sava.  She has helped us with Vacation Bible School and so much more.  Claudia and Richard have been married since 1985 and moved to Deltona in 1987.  They were blessed with three boys.  Aaron was 3 years old when he passed away in 1994 from complications of the chicken pox.  Benjamin is in the 8th grade and Craig is in the 4th grade.  Benjamin and Craig were both baptized at First several years ago.  Claudia is glad to be "back home" at FUMC!
We are glad to welcome Heather L. Miller as the new Christian Activities Director to FUMC.  Heather is a long time member of the church and even went to Youth Group in this church.  She is married and has three children:  Zack age 15, Maddie age 7 and Spencer age 4 to help occupy her spare time.  She recently received her AA from Daytona State College for education and is attending Stetson University.  Heather is the liasion between all the various programs and committees, helping to plan activities and events for all ages, senior's to youth and children.  Watch the calendar area for activities that you may be interested in participating.  Welcome Heather! Melissa Fienning, Music Director	FUMC is thrilled to have Melissa Fienning as our Music Director.  Melissa is a Music Education major at Stetson University.  She plays the piano and the clarinet.  Music has always been a major part of her life.  She is so excited to have the opportunity to show her love for God through music.  Melissa moved to Deland from Melbourne recently and has grown up in the Methodist church.  She's engaged to be married to Owain Graham on December 17, 2011.  Melissa stated, "I am very happy to be here in such a warm and welcoming family, and am very excited about the direction the music in the church is taking."
Sound/Video Technician:  Andy MacNab and his wife recently joined FUMC.  He has the gift of keeping our equipment up and running and making sure all know what is happening during the service.  Without Andy, our service would not run so smoothly.  We are glad you and your family are here.
