An Invitation to Pray for General Conference
2012
Join United Methodists in prayer for General Conference to be held in Tampa April 24th - May 4th. Spirit of the living God, come and unite the hearts and minds of your people... to bring us all into alignment with your Spirit, to help us put aside personal agendas, to increase our desire for discerning your way only, to be patient in waiting for you, to reenergize the United Methodist Church so that our mission is clear and inviting to everyone, to empower us in that mission and ministry for Jesus Christ so that the world can be transformed, and to always be rooted in your love so our souls can continue to feed upon you and find peace and joy in the sweetness of your presence. We pray this so we may never be separated from you, the Source of all life, wisdom, knowledge, truth and love. Amen. |

Join United Methodists in prayer for General Conference to be held in Tampa, April 24th - May 4th.
The Prayer Support Team of general conference 2012 invites your participation and wuold like to enlist you as a prayer partner. Every United Methoidst Churc in the world is invited to join us in prayer 40 days before the General Conference and every day it is in session. To do this your help and support is needed. Leadership training for Annual Conference, District, and Local Church prayer leaders will be held in Orlando at St. Lukes UMC on August 27th. You may register for this event online through the conference website or contact Nancy Siebert, Annual Conference Representative at 386-532-1391. |
